Panasonic System Solutions Europe introduces the new benchmark in EPOS workstations, Stingray (JS-950). The revolutionary new Stingray is set to transform the EPOS market thanks to the modular design, open architecture, unique construction, and powerful processing all helping to lower the total cost of ownership.
The open architecture of the Stingray means it will run virtually any operating system of the customer’s choice from basic off-the-shelf options to custom POS applications. Software can be configured with the selection of components and capabilities that best meet users’ specific needs. Making the Stingray even more flexible for future changes or maintenance, it features user replaceable components such as the LCD display and hard drive whilst also allowing for RAM to be easily increased.
Stingray has a choice of 12 or 15 inch screens, capacitive or resisitive, that can be mounted in either landscape or portrait orientations. Stingray’s 15” display can also be easily swivelled for portrait or landscape orientation depending on the application software.
Accessory products for Stingray include Dallas Key, Fingerprint Reader and Magnetic Stripe Reader which can be positioned on the Right, Left or bottom of the screen.
